History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heart-breaking obstacles before they get triumphed. They won because they refused to become discouraged by their defeats. B.C. Forbes

Once there was a boy looking at two caterpillars. He wanted to see how caterpillar would turn into butterfly. Butterfly would have to struggle to come out of cocoon. He broke the one cocoon and leave the other one untouched. The butterfly which come out of broken cocoon died afterwards and the other one won't. He understood the whole phenomenon that struggle will help the butterflies to strengthen their wings. If you are struggling never mind it's helping us to build our inner strength.

In life our first job is this to divide and distinguish things into two categories, externals I can't control but the choices I make with regard to them I do control. Where do I find good and bad? In me, in my choices. Epictetus

Today whole world is fighting with Covid-19. We are forced to stay in our houses. Should we yell or get mad at each other and further worsen the situation? No, not at all. In fact, now we can spend this time with our beloved parents or use this time to improve our skills. It's not what happens to us that matters but how we respond will make the difference.

An impediment to an action always advances an action. Marcus Aurelius

One day a partially deaf four years child came home with a note in his pocket from his teacher, " Your Tommy is too stupid to learn, get him out of school." His mother read the note and answered " My Tommy is not too stupid to learn. I will teach him myself." And that Tommy grew up to be the great Thomas Edison. Thomas Edison had only three months of formal Schooling. Great people didn't achieve great things because of the absence of the obstacle but because they used these obstacles as an opportunity to develop their skills.

Never mind failures, they are quite natural, they are the beauty of life, these failures. What would life be without them? Keep this idea in your mind --- if you fail a thousand times make an attempt once more. Swami Vivekananda

There was a man who failed in business at the age of twenty-one, was defeated in a legislative case at twenty-two, failed again in business at twenty-four, had his sweet heart dies when he was age twenty-six, had a nervous breakdown at age twenty-seven, lost a congressional race at age thirty-four, lost a senatorial race at age forty-five, failed in an effort to become vice-president at age forty-seven, lost a senatorial race at age forty-nine and was elected President of United-States at age fifty-two. This man was Abraham Lincoln. If he had taken failure to his heart and never attempted again he won't become the President of America.

Non Attachment to the fruit of our actions. The Bhagavad Gita

This is the entire gist of The Bhagavad Gita that we are entitled only to our actions not to the fruit of it. Always be process oriented not goal oriented. But our society did the opposite it's more goal oriented and less process oriented. If you have passed an exam then you are the winner, intelligent otherwise you are a loser. Keep in mind even if you are the best of the best sometimes you will fail, fail twice or even more times. So persist but experiment. If you follow the right process eventually you will get what you will deserve.
